I was raised on the original--NOT reruns--it was/is 'required' viewing for our family.
Besides the cast being way to young and way to beautiful I guess I too am looking forward to Abram’s Star Trek 90210. It does look like it could be a lot of fun!
The Star Trek 90210 thing was just pure joke. Don’t let my sarcasm fool you. I am excited for this movie and showed part of this trailer to my boys and Joshua’s mouth was wide open when the boy said his name. That was worth a million dollars. Plus they are hoping there will be cool toys. They know how this works.
Looks like they want to do to Star Trek what Casino Royale did to Bond. They need something to bring back the franchise and even if it flops, it is worth a try!
Totally. I can get over story stuff like Kirk can not drive a clutch when I remind myself they are starting over, reinventing and so forth. Repeat to myself it is just a show I should really just relax. :-)
